Lion Market is operated by Linedot Inc (“Lion Market,” “we,” or “us”). By creating an account or using our apps and website (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be capable of forming a binding contract and at least 13 years old, except that residents of Quebec must be at least 14. The Service is currently available to residents of the United States and Canada; we may add other regions over time. Some features are available only in areas we actively serve, and we may add or remove serviced areas at any time.
The direct card-purchase and seller-payout program has separate eligibility requirements: you must be an individual aged 18 or older residing in the United States. Purchasing is available only in supported service areas and when enabled for your account. These requirements do not change eligibility for other features of the Service.
Sign-in is by phone OTP. You are responsible for activity that takes place under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.
Linedot Inc purchases physical collectible trading cards directly from individual owners through Lion Market and resells the acquired cards to business customers. For a direct sale to Lion Market, Linedot Inc is the purchaser and is responsible for paying you the agreed purchase price for the cards we accept.
You must own the cards or have authority to sell them, provide accurate card details, and offer only genuine, lawfully owned cards. The app shows the offered amount, expiration, eligible cards, and available handoff options. Cards are handed over through an authorized partner location or an eligible scheduled pickup and checked against the offer by authorized personnel. Only cards accepted after inspection create an amount payable; a scan, photo, price estimate, or unfulfilled offer does not create a seller balance.
After acceptance, we record the agreed purchase price in US dollars as an amount we owe you. The app displays this unpaid amount as your seller balance. You cannot deposit money into this balance or transfer it to another user. Amounts already committed to a payout are shown separately from the amount available for a new payment request.
Use Cash out in the app to request payment to your own payout account. Confirm the amount and recipient details before submitting. You must affirm your age, US residence, and ownership of the receiving account, and consent to sharing the necessary payout details and receiving related emails or texts. We never ask for your payment-provider password.
PayPal and Venmo may be offered as payout methods only after provider approval and activation for your account. The app shows the methods currently available to you; per-payment and daily payout limits apply. Receiving accounts remain subject to the provider’s eligibility, verification, and account requirements. Linedot Inc funds direct-purchase payouts from its own business funds and pays the payout processing fees.
A payment request is not confirmation that funds have arrived. Payments may be processing, awaiting a claim, or held for review. The app shows the payment status; a payment is shown as sent when the provider confirms that it has credited the receiving account. Any later transfer from that account to your bank is handled by the provider under its own timing and fee rules.
If a payout is unavailable or cannot be initiated, the amount we owe you remains recorded and visible. A delay or failed payout does not cancel our payment obligation. Confirmed failed or returned payments restore the unpaid amount to your available balance. Pending or held payments remain tracked until their outcome is confirmed. Contact support promptly about a delayed payment or incorrect recipient details; cancellation or recovery of a submitted payment depends on its status and the provider’s rules.
Transactions directly between other members remain between those parties unless Lion Market is expressly identified as the buyer or seller. Any payment, delivery, or other services Lion Market provides for those transactions, and their fees, are described in the applicable transaction flow. The direct-purchase seller balance described above applies to cards purchased by Linedot Inc.
You will not use the Service to:
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. We act on reports within 24 hours and reserve the right to remove content, suspend accounts, or report illegal activity to law enforcement.
You retain ownership of the photos, listings, and messages you post. By posting, you grant Lion Market a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and route the content as needed to operate the Service. You are responsible for having the rights to anything you upload — including any card imagery, logos, or trademarks pictured.
Every UGC surface in the iOS app (listings, chat threads, messages, profiles) exposes a Report action. The chat thread additionally exposes a Block action. Use them. Reports are reviewed by our trust team within 24 hours.
You can delete your account from inside the iOS app at any time: Account → Delete account. Deletion anonymizes your profile, removes your active listings from public view, and invalidates your sessions on every device. Some content (chat history other parties received, audit records required for fraud and tax purposes) is retained as a “deleted user” entry.
The Lion assistant produces text responses with a third-party language model. Replies may be incorrect, incomplete, or stale. Treat them as suggestions, not legal/financial advice or appraisals.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lion Market disclaims all warranties, express or implied.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lion Market is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of the Service.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law, with or without notice. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, excluding conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.
Canadian residents. Nothing in this section limits any right you have under the consumer-protection laws of your province or territory, and nothing in these Terms requires you to waive a right or remedy those laws give you. If you are a consumer resident in Canada, you may bring proceedings in the courts of your province or territory, and the mandatory consumer law of that province or territory applies to the extent it conflicts with the paragraph above. If you are a resident of Quebec, the choice of California law and the choice of a California forum do not apply to you.
